First Aid

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life between productivity and profitability, we sometimes forget that a company’s most valuable resources are not its machines or office equipment, but the people who bring it to life. In the in-house training course on “First Aid”, our employees refreshed their knowledge of how to act in critical moments that could mean the difference between life and death. From dealing with minor cuts to cardiopulmonary resuscitation, everything was covered.

Talent Academy

During the Easter vacations, pupils visited us as part of the Talent Academy (Ems-Achse). Our colleague Alexei did not leave any of the young people’s questions about training opportunities at Menke unanswered. A highlight for the youngsters was the tour of the “hallowed halls”. Everyone was absolutely thrilled by the welding robot and the in-house coating system, which can process beams up to 18 m in length. Take the opportunity to start your future with us. Ostern in kindergarten

In a heart-warming campaign, we spread joy and excitement at the St. Elisabeth Haren Catholic daycare center before Easter this year. Under the motto “Easter surprises”, we invited the little explorers to embark on an exciting search for hidden chocolate eggs and bunnies. While the children roamed the kindergarten with shining eyes to find the hidden treats, a special guest was also spotted – the Easter bunny himself! 🐰 The excitement knew no bounds when the little participants discovered the fluffy friend in the middle of their search. “It was a pleasure to give the children an unforgettable day,” said Bernold Menke.

Insulated steel hall for building materials

We are currently erecting a new insulated steel hall measuring 18 x 35 m with a height of 7.5 m in Meppen for the storage of building materials and machinery. The hall roof with an area of almost 650 m² is prepared for a photovoltaic system. The steel hall components were painted in an equally environmentally friendly manner – our own MenColor® in the color RAL 7016 was used.

We need more space

We need more space and are expanding with an insulated production hall on our site at the Eurohafen in Haren. A part of our production is given a new home in this two-aisled hall, each with a span of 25 m. There is a crane runway over the entire length of 40 m. This makes heavy loads a problem for our production team. In the photos you can see our patented MenColor® paint in the color RAL 9002, grey-white.

The first drive

Our latest construction project is somehow angular and round at the same time.
The insulated steel hall has a span of 11 m and a length of 18 m. The 4 m long cantilever arm provides dry shelter.
Our MenColor® paint can be found here in the color RAL 7016.

RAL colors

We process every RAL color in our own painting line. MenColor® offers steel construction components increased rust protection thanks to a special mixture. Our special paint is particularly environmentally friendly and sustainable. We are also increasingly working with water-based paints, which are largely solvent-free.

HIT training fair

We were at the HIT apprenticeship fair in Haren at the weekend and talked to lots of great young people about our apprenticeship opportunities.

Our special thanks also go to Martinus Oberschule Haren, Maximilianschule Rütenbrock and the city of Haren for the great organization.

Menke supraregional

We were on the road again in the Ruhr region and erected a free-standing warehouse in Hürth. The two-bay hall with a length of 20 m and a total span of 47 m offers ideal conditions with an eaves height of 6.3 meters. Naturally, the hall is painted with our special Mencolor paint. A great addition to the production hall with office that we built here this year.
